The brand name is a creative fusion of the first letters of the founder Melissa Casanova’s first and last name, representing her personal touch. Originally, it was called "MELICASA", which stood for "Meli's house", symbolizing a space of creativity, warmth, and personal expression. This full name evoked a sense of comfort and style. However, as the brand evolved, we chose to streamline the name by focusing on the consonants, creating a modern and refined identity while still preserving the essence of its original meaning.

The idea of creating MLCS was born from a deep love for fashion, a passion for individuality, and authenticity. In 2018, we took the first step by launching a trial limited collection. Each new collection it is a moment of awareness — a breath of freedom, lightness, and renewal.
